Having always been a lover of strange words, I decided to create a personal dictionary featuring a few of my favorite 'dead words'. These words are those that are rarely, if ever, used in day-to-day conversation and are often meaningless to most of the population.
This competition was an opportunity for architects, students, artists and members of the public to propose new solutions to Chicago’s affordable housing shortage by designing a Tiny Homes community in Chicago’s historic Bronzeville neighborhood as a prototype for future development possibilities.
Daytrotter Printing is my screen-printing business. I design illustrations, logos, posters, flyers, T-shirts and album covers for bands, record labels, and even small companies throughout Chicago.
I use a combination of computer and hand illustration, along with photography, to produce my final designs. My ink collection and precision-printing abilities have grown over the years so I am now able to create more complex designs. I personally built my entire screen-printing setup and believe that by hand-pulling all of my artwork, each piece is individual and unique.

I designed images that are a part of Raise.com's daily Facebook posts. These images were often linked to a special happening in the company's marketplace or they referenced a current event. In order to design these I had to consider the correct sizing and resolution for images on Facebook while also showcasing the company's branding.
Through my internship at Gentner Design I had the opportunity to create various publicity materials including full page and back cover magazine advertisements to be featured in Design Bureau Magazine. By using Adobe Photoshop, I was able to retouch the photographs and prepare the final designs for print.
